Little Zigzag River – A beautiful stretch of creek located just east of Rhododendron just before you start the climb up to Government Camp. Located along and at the end of the Kiwanis Camp Road (Forest Road 2639) it is an easily accessible creek. It runs along the road with several areas that allow creek access including the Paradise Park trailhead campground. But the best is at the end of the road where you will find a trail head and a short, easy hike to Little Zigzag Falls.
At the trailhead you can see remnants of the old highway as it approached Laurel Hill, the steepest part of the drive for the old cars venturing up to the mountain in the old days.
