Timberline Lodge is an historical ski lodge located at the 6000′ level of Mount Hood. It’s at the timber line with an incredible view of the south face of Mount Hood.
In addition to the views of the mountain there are expansive views of the Cascade Peaks to the south on a clear day, most prominent being Mount Jefferson. The lodge itself is photo worthy due to it’;s impressive log and stone construction. Dedicated in 1937 as a WPA and CCC project, Timberline Lodge is a must see stop when inthe Portland Oregon area.
