Not just a place in France. We’re talking about a tour from the Normandy Coast to the French Alps. A truly once in a lifetime event. Day 1 - Friday, April 19th - We will be picking you up at the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris and we will drive to Bayeux. We will visit the Omaha Beach Memorial Museum at Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer. We will have plans to be there for the sunset on the D day beaches.
Day 2/Day 3 - April 20-21 - Easter - We will visit the beaches for sunrise and then travel to Mont St Michel. The tide will be high and will most likely surround Mont St Michel so we will spend the day photographing the Mount including a sunset. We will be spending the two nights
on the Mount at the Hotel Le Mouton Blanc or similar. The day after we will try to take a tour in the bay area. If the tide doesn’t allow it we will find some amazing place to photography this iconic building.
Day 4 - April 22nd - We will depart on the morning before the high tide and drive to Château de Chambord. We will visit the castle before checking in to our hotel, Le relais de Chambord, which is located just in front of the castle which will allow us opportunities to photograph this amazing structure in the evening as well.
Day 5, April 23 - We will drive to andvisit the amazing Château de Chenonceau. After which we will travel to the amazing historic village of Collonges la Rouge while on our trip to Figeac where will will spend the night.
Day 6 - April 24th - We will be visiting Peyrusse le roc, Saint Cirq Lapopie and then a sunset over Cahors. We will spend the night in Figeac.
Day 7 - Thursday April 25th - Carennac, Rocamadour, Ruisseau du Caillon waterfalls. We will spend the night in Figeac.
Day 8 - Friday April 26th - Touring Figeac. Leaving Figeac to Camargue, Les Saintes Maries de La Mer Stopping by the Millau Viaduc then we will photograph flamingos at sunset. We will spend the night in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer.
Day 9 - Saturday April 27th - Horses session at sunrise and sunset. We will spend the night in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer.
Day 10 - Sunday - April 28th - Horses session at sunrise Leaving Camargue to Roussillon Ocres de Roussillon. Roussillon is located in the very heart of the biggest ochre deposits in the world, and is distinguished by a wide palette of flamboyant colours. We will spend the night in Roussillon.
Day 11 - Monday April 29th - Driving to Chamonix Mont Blanc to photograph the Alps.
Day 12 - Tuesday April 30th - Wandering around Chamonix for the best views over the Mont Blanc
Day 13 - Wednesday May 1st - Driving to Beaune. Stopping by Baume les Messieurs to see La Cascade des Tufs. While in Beaune we will visit the old hospital and taste some wonderful wines. Burgundy wines are among the best.
Day 14 - Thursday May 2nd - We finally drive back to Paris for 3 days of visit the most romantic city in the world.
Day 15 - Friday May 3rd - Paris with another day with many things to see.
Day 16 - Saturday May 4th - Paris with another day with many things to see. We will celebrate Gary's birthday.
Day 17 - Sunday May 5th - Departure Day
