Here’s a photo of the Nelson home near Dufer Oregon. This old, abandoned home was once an attraction to photographers who would travel from all across the country to photograph it. Sadly the old structure that had stood for over 100 years succumbed to the flames of a quickly moving grass fire. Situated in the middle of a barley field this photo represents this old home and its character.
